well, long time no see. not that anyone has ever seen this account's stuff lol PRESS SPACE TO ADVANCE I got a new haircut recently. People say that I now look like some attractive Korean guy, which I guess is pretty cool considering I AM a Korean guy....... but now I'm attractive xD I don't even know what the rest of the art is... just PMMM stuff? Considering that I really like drawing puella magi madoka magica........ yeah.................... also, about the last drawing--yeah, please stop saying "kawaii" if you can't speak at least a little japanese... you should say "cute" in your own language? It doesn't sound right to randomly say "oh my gosh!! so kawaii!!" instead of "that's so cute/adorable!". Just saying. you're even using romaji of all things....... ROMAJI... at LEAST you could say "かわいいです!" instead of "that's kawaii!" I'm sorry for ranting, it just makes absolutely no sense... you shouldn't use another language to express your thoughts on something unless you actually understand the language a little. "kawaii" doesn't sound cuter than "cute/adorable".... Listen up! LANGUAGE IS NOT AN AESTHETIC! It isn't something to make something sound cute, edgy, or otherwise! Cute=かわいい, but say it in your own language because you don't speak any Japanese! I'm sorry if I'm coming off as rude! Japanese is to be taken as seriously as English, not to be used as a method to make something sound more like a certain tone/emotion. Saying something is "kawaii" rather than "cute" does not make your sentence sound any cuter with or without context! I wish people would stop acting as if Japanese is "cooler" than English, because listen up: it isn't! They're both equal and Japanese is not more "aesthetic" or "cute" than English, along with other foreign languages. The only reason I commonly use Japanese in my projects is because I'm trying to help myself learn and understand the language. At times, yes, I do need the help of a translator or someone who speaks fluent Japanese to tell me how to write/say something, but if YOU need to use a translator for EVERY single word that is in Japanese, you should be getting lessons on it rather than pretending that because you're using a translator for Japanese, you're so cool and perfect! You have no idea how many people I have come across that try to speak Japanese to me, all for me to ask if they can actually understand the language and they tell me they can't at all and are using a translator. If you're trying to understand Japanese, that's great--good for you. If you're just doing it so you sound cool and not because you actually care about the language any, I don't find that cool at all. Learning foreign languages is fun, so I really don't understand why so many people just decide to screw it and just “be cool” without trying at all. and just hear me out… never use romaji. Ever. Unless you're trying to teach a newbie how to read Japanese symbols. It's absolutely useless besides that and completely defeats the purpose of actually using Japanese in the first place. And just a little heads-up for all you people that say “kawaii” all the time… it’s pronounced “kah-wah-ee”, not “kuh-wai-ee”. I die a little on the inside every single time someone pronounces a Japanese word with the nonexistent sound “uh” in it. The sound “uh” makes doesn't even exist in the Japanese language. Thanks for reading this. I probably sounded really rude, but it's my honest opinion on this matter and I’d appreciate it if you took some thought to it. Have a good day lol
