(WARNING - the following project and instructions are very, very weird. Keep in mind that the story below is a joke, and that the project itself is based off of a very surreal nightmare I had.) Read below, turn your sound up a tiny bit, then click the flag. ACT I EXTERIOR: WHOVIAN'S MIND. A very peculiar place which appears to consist of various fictional worlds combined with ideas of her own. A sturdy CASTLE stands in the distance, clearly built with Minecraft blocks. A TREEHOUSE is also visible. We zoom in through the window of said CASTLE. A GUARD is standing in a throne room, conversing with WHOVIAN. Whovian is not actually a monarch; she just happens to like castles. Therefore, as this is her mind, castles are allowed. WHOVIAN: Guard, I have not shared a project on Scratch in quite a while. What I should I do about this? GUARD: Well, Whovian, you could always do the obvious and share a project. Also, I have a name. WHOVIAN: Yes, but I need a good topic and something I can get out very quickly - oh. I forgot, what was your name again? GUARD: Phillip. WHOVIAN: Gotcha. Sorry 'bout that. Anyways, I believe we need to visit the IDEA VAULT. Whovian snaps her fingers, transporting the two to a cavern lit with torches. Filing cabinets are everywhere. A screen, not unlike those giant computer things in Marvel movies, lines one wall. GUARD: Hm. You could always post some ART. A few new pieces of art appear on the screen. WHOVIAN: Eh, not up for it. What else do you have? GUARD: Um, these are technically your ideas, Whovian. WHOVIAN: Okay, fine, what else do *I* have? Phillip roots through a filing cabinet. Papers scatter on the ground. GUARD: You also have that GAME you're working on. Ideas that Whovian has for a game appear on the screen. It involves cats, movie theaters, and complex coding. Whovian sighs. WHOVIAN: Dear moons, not now. I'm still working on my book, and if I tackle something like that, I'll forget about it. GUARD: You could be working on your book right NOW, y'know. WHOVIAN: True, but I still need to show my followers I'm still making projects ... just not as often. GUARD: Good point. Whovian, growing tired, kicks a filing cabinet in disgust. WHOVIAN: I have too many ideas! All the good ideas I have for Scratch projects would take too long. Maybe I can add on to a project I haven't finished? GUARD: Didn't you start working on a sequel to that strange project about Odd Squad and that ... frog-thing? WHOVIAN: Oh, you mean Dat Boi! Haha, those were good times ... say, didn't I start working on a sequel to that project a few months ago? GUARD: That's what I just said. WHOVIAN: That was a brilliant idea, Phillip! Except ... I'm not quite in the mood to finish it. Oooh, I know! I'll share it as a work in progress. Whovian grabs a paper out of the file and hands it to Phillip. WHOVIAN: Tell all the guards to watch closely over the creativity sectors. I have some very lazy work to finish. GUARD: Yes'm. Also ... there was something I needed to ask you. WHOVIAN: Yes? GUARD: What are we doing about the wild conspiracy theory over in the Fandom Quadrant? WHOVIAN: Hm. I don't know. Send some guards to help me secure it. The project can wait a few minutes. Suddenly, a WILD CONSPIRACY THEORY appears. It is personified as a large bear. WILD CONSPIRACY THEORY: GROWL SNARL WHAT IF INSERT CHARACTER HERE LIKES INSERT CHARACTER HERE AND WHAT IS THIS CHARACTER'S TRUE INTENTIONS AND WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS EVEN MEAN?! Whovian, undeterred, blinks. WHOVIAN: Oh, you meant a LITERAL Wild Conspiracy Theory. I was sure you meant a metaphorical one. Phillip, frightened, exits, pursued by the bear. WHOVIAN: Yup, I went a long way to make that joke ... FIN.
(I am aware that the end joke of that little sketch thing I wrote in the instructions uses the trope incorrectly, as Phillip is not a villain, thus the trope is subverted.) (I may be wrong? I get 'subverted' and 'inverted' confused sometimes. Correct me if I am.) I drew everything in the project with my Wacom tablet in Scratch. It's deliberately drawn in a scribbled style. (Whoooo alliteration!) Credit to Minecraft for the various references in the project and in the instructions. Also, credit to my imagination for having such weird dreams in general. And thanks to whoever came up with Dat Boi for Dat Boi. Sorry for not having him in the project! Since my original dream came out, Dat Boi hasn't showed up in my dreams at all. (This was originally recorded back in late May/early June and shared in August.) Finally, yes, I really did have this nightmare. Believe it or not, I woke up terrified. xD But it was so weird I laugh whenever I tell the story to others! I'm really glad it wasn't any worse, because I've had WAY worse nightmares. I hope you all don't have nightmares, and if you haven't watched the project, I guarantee you it is NOT AT ALL SCARY. The only thing that might be scary is the bunny-shark, and it's really just too strange to be scary if you ask me.)
