Hey everyone! Josh Dun (the drummer of Twenty One Pilots') birthday is tomorrow, and I wanted to make some fan art and say share some kind words. (I think this is what I'm going to do every year for Tyler and Josh's birthdays. I did the same last year for Tyler's, and I think I'll continue each year, if it's possible. My stories may change a little each time, but the messages will remain the same - a thank you for the lives they've changed.) I also realize it's not very likely that he'll read this, but I still feel the need to do something nice for his birthday. :)
Dear Josh Dun, Tyler asked you once what inspires you. Ask any Clique member who inspires them, and it's likely you'll be high on their list. And why not? You are very inspiring. I've sat at my computer recording ukulele covers of your songs so many times, frustrated when I don't hit the right note, afraid of ruining it. You know what I do then? I stop and breathe, and I think of you. You go out on stage every night - let me repeat that, EVERY NIGHT, every DAY, every PERFORMANCE ever - and you beat the tar out of your drums. You've said before that it scares you, that you 'hide' behind your drums. During ERS a video played showing your anxiety ... but as it ended, the crew shone a spotlight on you. Onstage. You played anyways, despite your fears. If that's not inspiring, I don't know what is. From, Whovian-Pegasister (P.S. - I hope you like your drawing! I based it off of your haircut at the Grammys. Your most recent hairstyle is quite fabulous, I might add. I should've drawn it, but I couldn't find a good picture of it. :) (P.S.S. - Wishing you and Tyler and all the Clique well at Tour de Columbus! All the people who get to go are so lucky. I'm super excited for the livestream of ArTOPia and your film!) (P.P.S.S. - I think it's amusing that your birthday falls on Father's Day this year. Tell Mr. Dun happy Father's Day for me! xD) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Art made in Corel Paint Essentials 5. Sorry for the low-quality, I get that from Corel at times.)
