Weapons and shields also slowly recharge over time Warp Tunnels unlock at 1000-3000 points. Due to their instability worm holes collapse after use and pilots must find an alternate way back. Galaxies visited have dense concentrations of volatile gasses which have the properties of the various gas clouds that normally effect shields and the Ray Gun. Beware of the purple nebulae as firing thermal weapons in them (Q, C) will trigger an explosion causing heavy damage to your ship. On the upside with the energy available you should be able to fire the Ray Gun indefinitely.
