This is my first entry for JediFilms' Bionicle Art Contest. The art titled "Final Drawing" and "Scratch Version" should be examined the most. This is Toa Kazi, my self-Moc. Press space to alternate between the drawings I made of him and the actual creation. --------------------------------------STORYLINE-------------------------------------- A week after Makuta's demise and the restoration of Spherus Magna, Kazi, as a Matoran, noticed that of all former members of the Voya Nui Resistance Team, Velika was the only one missing. Searching for the semi-obnoxious Po-Matoran, Kazi walked directly under a mechanical crane that happened to be carrying Agori supplies. Somehow, the rope snapped and almost killed the Ko-Matoran. As Kazi visited the other Matoran of his team, he discovered that each had nearly avoided an attempted assassination in one form or another. Everyone drew the connection that Velika (who, unbeknownst to them, was a Great Being) was somehow involved with their near-deaths. Teaming up with their friend Dezalk, the reformed Resistance Team organized a search party in which they were ambushed by... two Dark Hunters? A Toa of Stone appeared and easily defeated the two, revealing himself as none other than Velika. Velika told them of his initial plans to wipe all Matoran off the face of the earth using a sentient robot and an army of Vorox (these aforementioned plans are canon), and how three Toa convinced him from doing that. (From a fan-based continuation of Yesterday Quest). As those three Toa left, Velika had found seven Toa Stones, one of which transformed him into a Toa. Ending his story, Velika told his comrades to follow him into a fortress, where they gathered around a Toa Suva and were transformed into Toa. Velika then told them of their new mission... This is all a short plot summary for a movie I'm making on YouTube. It sounds a little confusing, but gets its point across. The art is what should matter. -----------------------------------PERSONALITY------------------------------------- Kazi, like when he was a Matoran, is sarcastic and not always fond of Velika's riddles. --------------------------------------POWERS----------------------------------------- Being a Toa of Ice, Kazi has the ability to resist low temperatures, create ice out of moisture in the air, control snowstorms, etc. He wears the Kanohi Matatu, the Great Mask of Telekenesis, which allows the wearer to lift objects in midair without touching them*, and carries enhanced versions of his old Echo Forks, which can create a sonic explosion when clashed together. *Does anyone else think that the Kanohi Matatu has unlimited power? Theoretically, with concentration, one could use it to rearrange the atoms in an object and completely alter its substance. (Like turn metal into gold, or Makuta into ashes) Also, the second concept art has song lyrics in the background. Each Toa I drew in the original concept art would have their own theme song... this one was downloaded from an Inika "Free the Band" game, and it's called "All of the Above" by Big City Rock. A certain part of the lyrics would be highlighted, emphasizing their catchphrase. In the picture, Kazi's is "There must be something more."

Final Artwork done on my sketchbook with Sharpie and Prismacolor. (Some of it was actually worked on in art class at school) It's done in portrait, so you'll have to look at it sideways.
