It was past midnight, but she couldn't sleep. Leila's words kept going though her head. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her window. "What could thy be?" she thought to herself and opened the window. Leila climbed in, "I need to talk to you." she said. "Is it about Tydus again?" Kailey asked, rolling her eyes. "Listen. I told you tha-" "No. You listen." Leila interrupted. "I saw Tydus with the queen. He was holding a sword. Don't you understand?! He's going to kill her!" Kailey couldn't believe it. Tydus had been so nice to Rebel before. He wasn't going to just kill her, right? Kailey immediately reacted. She ran outside and tackled Tydus to the ground and screamed, "Don't you dare hurt her!" "Ack! What are you doing?!" He yelled. "Stopping you!" She yelled back. "I was just staring to trust you and now I see you doing this?! How could you try to hurt her like that?!" Rebel just stared in shock. She couldn't move or say anything. "I wasn't going to!" Tydus exclaimed, shaking with fear. "Liar!" Kailey growled, grabbing her sword. Rebel finally found the words and grabbed Kailey's wrist. "Stop it Kailey! He wasn't going to kill me! We were both attacked and Tydus strived to protect me with the sword!" Kailey dropped her sword and stammered, "R-really?" Rebel nodded and narrowed her eyes. "Yes really!" she shouted, angrily. "You've been acting weird lately! What has gotten into you?! Why don't you trust him?!" "I was starting to! It's just...How do you know he even likes you?! You will just tell him you like him, and he will ditch you!" Kailey said, putting her hands into fists. "I'm not saying that I like him! You just need to have some trust in some people! If I didn't trust him, why would I invite him into the castle? I'm not stupid, you know." Rebel argued. "You don't know what he's really like!" Kailey muttered. "I had you looking after him! Clearly I had the best!" Rebel said as tears started to form in her eyes. Kailey looked Rebel deep in the eyes and said one last thing, "Well, maybe you wrong," and she walked off without saying another word. Rebel sighed, tears forming in her eyes. She turned around to talk to Tydus, but he was nowhere to be found. "Where did he go?"
