Tydus groaned and slightly opened his eyes. “Hey…how are ya feeling?” Kailey asked him. “Better…” he said weakly. “What in all of Asha did this to you?!” Rebel questioned. “A-a person. A man. A d-dealer…” Tydus stuttered. “Why would he do that?” she asked. “I-I had to get money somehow…It was a bad idea…I don't want to do it anymore and he made me pay…” Tydus sighed. “Did you see where he went?” Kailey asked and Tydus shook his head. “No.” “I'll tell the guards to watch out for anyone strange then.” Kailey replied and walked off. When she left, Rebel looked at Tydus and held his hand. “Hey, I'm really sorry about this happening to you…” “It's alright. I'm feeling better and that's all that counts.” he smiled, blushing a bit. “You should go now. I'm sure your super busy with your duties, being queen and all.” he chuckled. “I should get some rest anyways.” “Alright. She said. See you later.” Rebel said and left. After Kailey told the guards to look for the dealer, she heard a voice saying, “Maybe it's a good thing he got hurt.” Kailey grunted and muttered. “Is that you again, Leila?” “Maybe.” Leila smirked and came out from hiding. “Ugh. Listen! I'm done with your jokes! No, I'm done with YOU! Your just trying to trick me into helping you!” Your not who you used to be, Leila. You've changed since we were kids…” “You don't know me at all!” Leila snapped at her. “You don't know all the pain I have been through!” And with that, she stormed off. Kailey sighed and went to Rebel. “Rebel…I need to tell you something. I need to tell both you AND Tydus something.” “You'll have to wait until later. Tydus is resting.” Rebel said. “It's important!” Kailey yelled. “It can't wait!” Rebel sighed and said, “Alright fine. Let's go.” and they went back to Tydus. “Alright. Tell us what's going on.” Rebel said once they woke up Tydus. “There…is this girl who really hates Tydus. She's the reason I tried to attack him earlier…” Tydus whimpered. “It was Leila…wasn't it?” Kailey nodded. “She kept making up this nonsense about you attacking her.” “Wh-what?! I never hurt her! She's the one who tried to hurt ME!” he stuttered, nervously. “She told me that she liked me and I rejected her, and then she attacked me!” “W-wait! Kailey! Why did you tell this to us before?!” Rebel asked, shaking. She seemed confused, scared, and sad at the same time. “She used to be my best friend, so I trusted her…when she told me not to tell you, I listened…I'm so sorry…” Kailey said with tears in her eyes. Rebel hugged her and said, “It's alright. All of us can get easily influenced by the people we are closest to” Kailey wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged Rebel back.
