My rant/speech: This is just a random drawing, but I wanted to say that I have heard a lot of people saying they are not going to celebrate the fourth of July because thy are disapointed in America right now. While I agree that we are not the best, I think it is more important to look at the good, like the women's marches, and more recently pride month. Everybody who is standing up for what they believe in should make us hopeful for America's future. This day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, so I think that it should be a reminder to continue to strive for its purpose, "We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Happy 4th of July!
