I made this project after thinking about how useful it would be for Scratchers to understand why art in Scratch's bitmap editor looks 'blurrier/pixelly' compared to Scratch's vector editor. THIS PROJECT WAS NOT MADE TO SAY SCRATCH'S BITMAP OR VECTOR EDITORS ARE BAD. This is an educational project I made to inform Scratchers, not to offend the Scratch Team in any way.
All information was gathered through my 'Introduction to Graphic Design' course found on HomeschoolTeachers.com ! If you're homeschooled and have an interest in graphic design, I highly recommend it. There's a whole lesson on the different types of image files, plus you get to mess around with different image editing programs! (Please note that the course has a religious bent.) Feel free to ask questions about image files in the comments. I don't know everything, however, and I certainly don't know all the technical stuff, so don't expect me to be able to answer everything. Hey, I honestly think my vector art has improved, considering I've only drawn a few things here and there. That picture of Josh took me three days on-and-off because I'm not used to the vector editor. It was very frustrating and took a lot of work to make it look even vaguely like him. (And I'm pretty sure he's changed his hair style now ... oh, whatever.)
