Use buttons to control the tempo/volume. To change instrument, click the instrument button. To toggle create blocks and delete blocks, press the mode button in the top right. to make sound, move your cursor in create mode into a column, for example the c column. then hold your cursor down, and you should see a block appear. once the bar going down the screen touches said block, it will play the note of the column that the block is in. it sounds confusing, but it's actually really simple.
