I like literally talked to my phone mic for 6 minutes straight on how Aldy came to Earth today and it was all improvised. Okay the whole thing about Almandines are that there's a ton of them except only a few of them came out as intended, as with real life garnets. Aldy would be one of the more respectable ones for being a terrible person. He'd be trusted to lead and train less "capable" soldiers, AKA ones that were really soft. And his harsh training style really got the job done. Okay so the way he got Earth is literally by pestering this chick right here, Yellow Bowenite, until she finally got him permission to go to Earth and check the damages after the war. And he just stayed without reporting back. And he hasn't since.
