This is from two years ago. Never finished it, but I thought I might as well share it. The basic backbone of the system's layout, as well as the text engine (with my originally designed font! ...which actually sucks but whatever), are complete. You can toggle stuff/change wallpapers in settings. Note that some features may be messed up due to Scratch 3.0.
༺∞––––––––––––––| -A r c . O S- |––––––––––––––∞༻ ༻ The password is 7~5~0~1. As long as you're not illiterate, please don't ask for it in the comments, thank you. No offense in any case. ༻ If the display seems distorted or has pixelated graphics, press cmd+m. This is a scratch glitch I've noticed for while now. If it still doesn't appear to be normal, live with it. It won't cause functional problems. ༻ The funky particles on the lower part of the home screen are a noise level detector I made for fun. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– All coding, art, and design is done by myself. A huge thank you to: scratch, my life, my brain cells, my computer, my hands, my eyes, my knowledge (if I'm considered to have any), all the food I ate while I was making this, and basically anything I can think of. It just wouldn't be possible without you all. Special credits also go to @rosyda. The code for the stars and constellations in the background is basically the same as in her OS; all I did was make modifications on the scale at which they moved relative to the mouse. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Trivia: ༻ Arc.OS contains many easter eggs. But you'd be lucky to even discover one of them, for I have made them very, very elusive... Or you could look in the code :P ༻ All the constellations I got on the wallpaper probably can't be seen at the same time, but hey, I'm no astronomer and not every visual has to be scientifically correct :P ༻ A thing that I learned is that text engines are super useful and totally worth the large amount of work you have to do to create one.
