As an adaptation of the maze game Cheese Chase, Swift is named after a winged mouse, who you control with the arrow keys, while dodging beetles that make random turns when they hit a wall. During a time of famine between the Mouse and Beetle Kingdoms, both sides clash for the very last of the sacred cheese to stabilize their kingdoms. While multiple beetle scouts are patrolling the maze, don't worry! No ghosts are going to try and take you down. But brushing by the scouts often will boost your hunger levels. By eating cheese, the hunger levels will deplete. Every 10 seconds, the cheese will vanish, adding one point to hunger levels. Reaching 10 on hunger will mean "Game Over!" As many "Swift's" might glide through the Beetle Kingdom at once, my High Score system will (hopefully) work to decide who actually tried to save their kingdom as hard as they could, who is simply experimenting with the maze, and those who didn't even try at all. Will you save the Mouse Kingdom before it's too late? (Okay, I am aware that the backstory is super weird and cringey.)
There is a nearly invisible "watermark" along Swift's wings that means, "GIVE CREDIT TO ME BEFORE REMIXING." Song: K810 - "Spellbreaker loop" (and yes, it's a remake of the Medieval 1 loop in the Scratch music inventory.) UPDATES: 7-10-17 | 1.0: Initial release 7-11-17 | 1.1: Bugfixing directions; shrank the beetles; added 2 more beetles; altered beetle speeds BUGS: -In certain positions, you might get stuck when the wings end up in a wall. -(Not exactly a bug) Even when you grab cheese, this does not reset the 10-second timer; this forces you to be very quick.
