I am here to finally memorialize Windows XP on my account, which was created almost two years after Windows XP was sadly shut down by Microsoft. Windows XP had been active for nearly 13 years. When I was in Elementary school, my old school (which wasn't amazingly funded, but well funded nonetheless) ran Windows XP on EVERY SINGLE COMPUTER, even after Windows Vista and Windows 7 was released. My family's old computer ran Windows XP Home Edition, until our computer broke (and our new computer was pre-installed with Win. 7, but now it's Windows 10, and it is the very PC I cam typing this on). I did not know that Windows XP was, in fact, shut down, until recently when I was finally able to access said information. I only recently realized that I am probably only one of the only kids in my entire SCHOOL who knows what Windows XP is, which is very, very sad. I loved Windows XP, and while Windows 7 and 10 are much better, none of them will ever, EVER, surpass the legacy of the legendary Operating System, Windows XP.
