Omg I looovvveee this character design! Thank you tiramiisu- for hosting this DTA!! I couldn't decide which one to go for because they were all so adorable, but I think this one is my favorite. I'm going through a vector phase (inspiration: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/118919438/ CHECK IT OUT) so this is a slightly different style than what I sometimes do. Bio: Name: Lumakara Gender: female Age: 12 moons Personality: Caring, calm Likes: Rocks, astronomy Dislikes: Plastic, food Backstory Lumakara glanced back at her family's den. Everyone was sleeping peacefully. Everyone except her. She carefully brushed aside the hanging vines that concealed their home and bounded away into the night. As she got farther away from the dampness of her home, Luma slowed to a trot as she stared through the canopy of leaves above her head. Looking for her usual stargazing rock, she noticed a flat rock that was lit by the moon. The moon's glow, penetrating the layer of leaves illuminated a carving in the rock. It was the shape of a heart with two letters Luma couldn't make out inside of it. The humans, Luma thought, must have left this before they left. Then Luma realized this rock was her stargazing rock. She gasped in horror as she realized her home had been invaded. She raced back to her den as quickly as possible. When she got back to the dark mouth, she paused. Her sister, Ralos, peeked out nervously from behind her parents' stern faces. "Lumakara," her mother hissed, once they were inside the den. Uh oh, Luma thought. She was in trouble. Ralos smirked. Loomy, she mouthed. Luma gave Ralos the clear "I-prefer-Lumaaaaa" look, then quickly refaced her mother. "How many times do I have to tell you?" continued her mother. "The humans will be back, and we will be hidden from them. I just hope you are when they come back." "Oh, they're already back!" piped up Ralos. "I saw a carved rock that was clearly a fresh carving!" Luma glanced, horrified, at Ralos. She knew? Luma's father glanced sharply at Ralos, than that a swift, intense conversation with their mother. "We're leaving," they both announced. "What?" Luma and Ralos said simultaneously. "This is no longer safe for us," explained their father. "We leave immediatly." As they padded of through the forest, they passed Luma's newly carved stargazing rock. I will never forget you or the stars we've shared, Luma whispered to the rock, than ran to catch up with her family. ~Credits~ Character design: tiramiisu- Drawing: mee Programming: tiramiisu- I think....
