READ ME PLEASE Oh no! James' 5638th computer has mysteriously broken! He's hopped into his UFO to get to his secret lab (because reasons), but he's being chased by his fanbase, who has somehow learnt how to fly! Fight them back with games, and be wary - they learn how you react and grow accordingly! Hate fast enemies? Expect more of them. Terrible against bulky beasts? There's more of where that came from. During a wave, James will automatically throw a random game in the direction of your mouse-pointer. Don't worry about luck not being on your side, they're all the same dimensions and none of them have additional effects. Can you name all of the games he can throw? The Spammer: Spends his time throwing "kind inspiration" everywhere which tells you to do the same. Recognisable by his purple jumper, he stays near the back of the screen and throws tins of SPAM, without even cooking them! The Hater: Usually found smashing his head on a keyboard in frustration. With piercing red eyes, the hater charges towards your UFO and attempts to destroy it. The Follower: Spoke of in the oldest of myths, the Follower is a strange creature which will find popular Scratchers and tell them to follow him. Results as to why are inconclusive. The strongest of all of the fanbase. Extremely slow, and is made fun of because of its constant drooling, but with it's massive HP and damage, it's not an easy foe! The Copier: Wearing a white mask to hide their identity, they are known to remix projects with little changes and claim it as their own. They do not have any sole identity, instead, they copy others! They can behave like a Spammer, Hater or Follower. Heck, they might even have the nerve to copy you! Every 3 waves you'll get a chance to upgrade your UFO's HP, your game damage or your throwing speed, and every 6th wave you fight a boss. Bosses do not grow, rather, their stats are calculated based on fanbase stats. This game is a mediocre example of how learning AI can be used in all sorts of games, as it doesn't always have to affect behaviour. However, to give the AI a bit of a nudge, AI cannot de-volve, meaning that they're guaranteed to either stay as they are or get stronger. Kyurem's reccomendations: - Haters are possibly the most dangerous enemy in groups. Take them out on sight. - Be prepared to take out really bulky opponents, whether that means increasing your rapid fire, your damage or your health. You'll thank me when you reach Wave 16. - Boss waves occur on every (n*5+1) round. If you don't understand algebra, that means on the 6th, 11th, 16th, 21st, etc wave. - Upgrade waves occur on every (n*3+1) round. In other words, the 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th, etc wave. - Don't let too much of anything build up. A bunch of spam cans flying through the sky isn't nice to deal with. Expect more to this game in the future, mainly random bosses and more of them. You can never have too many bosses! Dark Souls is a prime example of this - every enemy is the most infuriating boss you've fought yet!
This is a joke project, by the way. If you are a copy + paster, angry hater, or a demanding "FOLLOW ME!" kind of person please halt your barrage of insults. If the above for some reason does not apply to you, give me your angriest comment down below and I might add you as a boss in the game! Credit to MyNewSoundtrack for the MOOSIC.
