Use wasd to move and q and e to shoot a web. Whee, spidercat! Everybody loves webslinging... Right? Right??? Well, I know I do. So have a this. The controls are pretty nifty, I think. Depending on your angle, distance from the web, what keys you're holding, your web will do all kinds of different and interesting things. Many of which are actually glitches that I grew fond of instead of fixing. So you end up with a physics engine that you can control to a very large degree with a few tricks. Have fun! Also- I forgot to mention- you can climb buildings if you get a running start. Use your web to pull you if you get stuck.
Credit also to griffpatch_tutor for a rather large part of the movement scripts. I'm afraid I got rather lazy and grabbed a move sprite from my backpack rather than make a new one. NOTES No, I haven't seen Spiderman Homecoming. But that's next on my agenda. While making my last game, https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/170020279/ , which I know for a fact nobody is aware of, (literally, it has exactly 1 view, and that was me) I ended up with a bunch of scripts and sprites that simply wouldn't work in that game, but were close. And, of course, I never waste anything (which has resulted in many leftovers going rancid) so have a THIS. It's a thing. I'll probably add more later. As I've mentioned many times in many places, my Flash player is almost dead, and my dad won't update it.(I use Linux, and my dad is root. Basically, I can't update or install anything without his password). So whenever I try to edit projects that have too many scripts, they die. They just fall over and die, taking my browser with them and forcing me to restart my computer. So I'm releasing Part One on its own. It's fairly short, but you get the gist of the controls and such. I realize I probably staring to ramble at this point. Goodbye. Post a _waffle_ if you read this far.
