Until Mistyfur (A warrior) smelled smoke, it was coming from a Twoleg camp. The cinders blew through the wind into our camp, the flames grew bigger with every paw swipe the clan cats did. Eventually, the flames rose and spread to all the corners of the territory. All the clan cats escaped from their dens before the fire trapped them inside, Kestrelflight (Your mother) took it upon herself to grab all of the kits and bring them to safety. She ran towards the flames that now had spread across the nursery entrance and tore through to try and grasp each kit's scruff. She sadly failed and got burned to death, after the fire had settled down, the cats quickly got all the kits, only two kits survived, however. (You and Brightkit) Eventually, after a moon of walking through the flame scarred forest, they came upon a field and settled.
