☂Please read every word in this box!☂ This poem "Eulogy of Black Umbrellas" is about darkness closing in, anonymity, and the spark of hope that all humans desperately try to keep alive in order to not give in to abyss of despair... ☂Eulogy of Black Umbrellas☂ The rain washed his tears away So people with umbrellas would never see And start a downpour He walked as a ghost that never haunted Thinking, knowing, That no one would ever be spooked by him anyway He was the umbrella that was painted black In the mass of black umbrellas Or maybe all of them are painted Why was he alone? Are we alone? Our questions echo back at us, with no one to hear them. No one to pray to No one to find No one but us, ignorant, naked beings We are all going to die Alone Are we?
Sorry if this project is kind of heavy, but that's the mood I was in when I wrote this poem. I am an atheist, so that's what the part about "no one to pray to" is about, and I'm sorry if that offended you. I simply don't believe in god/gods. If you do, I hope you don't care about that line, because that is just my opinion, and I'm not trying to force it on you. Thanks to @BlackMonster123 for the beautiful melancholy music. Poem by me. Rain effects taken from a much lighter project of mine. Link to it here if you're interested: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/162206982/
