How to ice skate: 1. Put on your skates. Lace them up as tightly as possible (if you have laces. If you don't, just make them tight as possible.) 2. Check them 3. Wobble on over to the rink/pond. You are now ready to begin ice skating! 4. Don't be afraid to fall. Everyone has to begin somewhere! 5. Lay one skate straight forward (or pointing the direction you want to go) on the ice. Put your best foot forward! This foot will be your gliding foot. 6. Put the other foot down perpendicular to (pointing away from) your other foot. This will be your pushing foot. 7. Push with your pushing foot (duh) and keep your gliding foot straight forward. 8. Switch feet. Your gliding foot is now your pushing foot, and vise versa. 9. Repeat steps 5 to 8 until you feel like stopping. Congratulations! And always keep step 4 in mind.
This project is about just having carefree fun! I made this quick animation on a whim, and enjoyed it very much. Snow effects from this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/37312432/ Sounds from scratch library (xylos 1 and 2), Thanks to @keylan118 for the snow programming, all other coding is by me. Also, thanks to the Scratch team for making all projects open source!
