Germany: Grey Infantry: Cross/X Poland: Green Armor: Circle/Oval The objective of the game is for Germany to capture Warsaw (The central city on the map). If they do not do this by the end of the turn of Sept. 26, then the Polish win the game. If you click on a unit, then it will be selected, turning a lighter version of itself. You can select multiple units however it is not recommended. Using the arrow keys, you can turn the unit, or move the unit forwards. If a unit moves into a hex occupied by another unit that isn't friendly, then it will attack that unit. The unit being attacked will be damaged once, each unit having a maximum of five health, and have the possibility of retreat = to the number of damage it has taken X 20%. It is, therefore, more likely to retreat when damaged. A unit that retreats will retreat into the hex behind it. If the hex is occupied, then the unit won't retreat and will take an extra damage instead. The gray and green circles are cities. If your unit moves into an unoccupied city, then the unit will take the city. Every two cities you own will get you one reinforcement. Using the reinforce button in the top right, you can reinforce your units. If you run out of reinforcements, then the button will automatically turn off.
The project is quite complex (Just look inside it), however I am making a new project that is even more complex, in terms of code, of course. The map I made with Hexographer, a free hex editing program that allows you to create various hex maps. The main menu is a photo when the Germans crossed the border into Poland, while the title and units are made with Paint.net. This took me about a month to make and complete. It is nice to have a finished product, with a few bugs of course, due to its complexity.
