Thanks to @DragonKB_MAPS for hosting this great MAP and inviting me to it! (Though I bet you regret it now that I made...this. Sorry.) Oh gosh I am so out of practice with animating, this is terrible, I'm so sorry. ;~; Click the flag a bunch or watch it more than once, that should fix the lag. I am slightly proud that I managed to avoid using any effects/the glide block! Yay for me, I used costumes instead! There still isn't that much animation though ugh. Everyone else's parts look so amazing and mine is just...this. :'> I did finish it quickly, though, at least. Characters: Duskeiil's eyes, Neb (Nebula)'s paw, and Mira. Story: The story is from my almost-completely-written backstory/story of these characters. (+Stargaze, Silver, Gwisgi, Stormblaze, and Kyten, who didn't make it into this MAP part. But they were there. Well, except Stargaze because she's dead at this point.) I don't want to write the whole thing here bc it's long (and there are some plot holes, haha) but I'll try to summarize what's happening here in a semi-understandable way??? Actually, first you need some background knowledge. So Mira lived like a few thousand years ago (from the perspective of Stormblaze and the gang) and long story short, she ended up killing the one guy. Because she felt she had to, not because she's psychotic. She's not psychotic, just sarcastic and a bit rude sometimes. And anyway, while she was doing that another guy, her brother actually, came in and saw her with the body an' stuff and freaked out and started trying to raise an alarm so she killed him too. And then went on with her life for like a day before her brother's spirit came back to try to destroy her both as revenge and because he was (understandably) horrified by her actions. (stuff like that can happen in this world, it's a weird magical world where the dominant life form is cats and there are no people. And the cats can somehow do stuff like make buildings and things like humans do. Yay for logic.) Anyway, he attacks her and they fight and everything, and in the end Mira wins and her brother (his name is Baelin if you're curious and yes that's actually a name that people have) is completely obliterated off the face of the planet. He's gone. But Mira was severely wounded in the fight and is now dying. Of injuries that affect not just her body but her soul as well and are impossible to heal. She's left with two choices: die as herself or corrupt her soul into something that could survive forever but is honestly probably a worse option than death as this new form of Mira would be just a shadow of herself and would barely even count as living. However, having a strong sense of self-preservation ( and, though she'd never admit it, being absolutely completely terrified to die,) Mira goes for the second option. Thousands of years later, a cat named Duskeiil has MIra as an evil sprit tattoo on the side of his face ( I wrote a really great explanation for this and the events leading up to it but it actually filled up the N&C, can you believe that??) and he wants her off because she was mostly responsible for the death of his sister, Annacil (and his parents but she gave him amnesia when becoming his evil spirit tattoo, so he doesn't remember that) and he basically wants to destroy her so the world can be safe from her and all that jazz. Since she is surviving off of his life force, he figures he can just lie down and starve to death and it would kill her as well. Maybe that would've worked, who knows, but Nebula, Stargaze, Silver, Stormblaze, Gwisgi, and Kyten, the whole gang, find him lying around half-dead and then nurse him back to health against his wishes. Because they do that, Mira doesn't die, because she doesn't die, Stargaze ends up dead, and because that happens they decide they have to deal with her. Not to mention that she's slowly killing Duskeiil and he has become their friend. (And kinda Nebula's boyfriend.) So anyways, they do that and after all the dramatic bright light and explosions and stuff, they're all getting up thinking, "Oh gosh did we just destroy the world?" and then see that there's another cat lying there--Mira, as she was before corrupting her soul. So, corporeal and much less crazy and murderous--being a shadowy corrupted spirit thing makes you lose your mind a little after a while. And everyone's surprised because no one was expecting that, they were just trying to get Mira the Evil Tattoo off of Duskeiil but they actually saved Mira as well. This MAP part covers the last bit, where they just un-corrupted Mira's soul and they're all surprised to see her. So there's a very very simplified version of the story that's missing all the good details. Disappointing. But you probably didn't want to read all that anyway, so maybe that's for the best. I'll post the full version at some point. Kudos if you read the whole thing! <3
