------------------------------------ -Hey! Lefty here! So some of you guys know about my Main Sona, Vincent (designed by @AquazTiger)! I don't draw him much, and I'm starting to feel like he doesn't fit anymore. So I've decided to host another Design Me a Main Sona contest again! (Don't worry, Aquaz. I'm still keeping Vincent 'cause he my bab<3) And this contest is sortof in celebration of 1250+ followers! ------------------------------------
my entry, sorry that it looks so bad i went for a more realistic sona space for more drawings BIO: name: (idk, you can choose. i named him Volar which means fly but it's your sona soo...) has a weird obsession of figs hates flying for long periods of time, normally has to takes more rest stops than the rest of the colony species: flying fox (a type of bat) personality: (i don't know much about sonas so i don't know if they kinda resemble you and your personality but as an animal? i am not a furry and have nothing against them, but i have no idea how these things work :p) pessimistic, EDgY special things about him: he has enhanced hearing but weaker flying. he also is glow-in-the-dark backstory: he was incredibly lucky as a baby bat. when travelling for food an owl found them and began to chase the bat colony his mom was flying with. his mom was always a slow flier, so the owl caught her and tore the baby from her, also tearing Volar's wings badly. a bird poaching society called Falling Feathers heard the commotion and shot the owl down. they found the badly injured baby and felt bad for it so they sent it to a special bat sanctuary. the owner of the sanctuary was actually a scientist that studies bats and their behavior. when he saw Volar he became interested and performed various "surgeries" on him, such as patching his wings up with leather and inserting a hearing chip into his ear, just because he wanted to see if a bat's hearing could improve any more. it worked and he earned lots of money and praise for it. (idk why) soon he wanted to insert a device into Volar's brain by an intense surgery and see if he could somehow read his mind. unfortunately for him he couldn't at the time but took brain scans of his bat every day. he also even messed around with Volar's genes and made him a glow-in-the-dark blue bat. the scientist himself thinks it's pretty cool, but Volar does not. he is now vulnerable to predators. Volar hated to be a test subject all the time, although he was incredibly grateful for his improved hearing and his wings, and one day after discovering he could fly, he left and soon reunited with his colony. NOTE: his mother is dead ;-; NOTE 2: in this shot you cannot see the leather part of his wings because it is at the bottom.
