From the Broadway musical "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812", which is not *technically* Tolstoy's War and Peace, thereby sparing me from having to admit I created fanart of War and Peace. I believe the show closed today, the third of September. The Great Comet merges Russian folk music, indie rock, klezmer, and electropop together, and blending them together is the most alluring thing I can fathom. Which makes up for how boring the plot of the musical is. This picture is inspired by the song "No One Else."
Lots of people are involved in making musicals so I don't know. Dave Malloy, I think. Definitely not me, is who. This picture is based on the Denée Benton Natasha, not the Phillipa Soo Natasha, although both are good obviously.
