My Crew had arrived at our camp in Madagascar. We pitched our tents and unpacked. My “tent mate” was very nervous about this expedition. We had gone to Madagascar to study the Geo-Leopard. The Geo-Leopard is a large, mutant-like leopard, it is known to be about twenty feet long, and is very dangerous. Its known den is about 400 miles away from our camp. The Geo-Leopard is more like Nessie the Loch Ness Monster, people think that there is only one. There are stories about people who have gone to look for this threatening monster, but never came back. The people who claim to have seen it, and lived to tell the tale say that it has shiny, silver fur with spots that are red on the outside, and gold on the inside. Our leader told us that it was time to go and search its den. I drove the jeep for two hours, and my tent mate, Sabine, drove for the other two hours. We followed the rest of the crew, I never had a single thought of fear for the Geo-Leopard, and I didn’t even think it existed at first. When the crew leader, Kyle, told us about this trip, I laughed very hard. We were finally at the mountain. The crew climbed until we found a large opening to a cave. We turned on our low-light flashlights, and Kyle’s brother, Liam worked the camera. We saw something large, and shiny move in the shadows. Sabine and Liam squealed, the shadow moved closer, and closer. The creature revealed its spots, the same red and gold, like in the “stories”, its sharp, white teeth were long and exposed, like a saber-toothed tiger. The creature let out a low growl, and I knew right away what it was. The Geo-Leopard. I grabbed the crew, Liam dropped his camera, and we climbed as fast as we could down the mountain. We quickly drove away. When we were back at our camp, we ate and went to sleep. As I slept, the growl of the Geo-Leopard played like a broken record in my head
