Edit (October 2025): After reviewing Griffpatch's RPG tutorial series, I conclude this method is now obsolete. Following that turorial actually accomplishes what I originally intended to. Feel free to keep reading what was the original idea :) Press Space to switch 'motion methods'. Purpose of this project: I just wanted to create a method to simplify how a character moves, between: 1- the 'normal way' (N steps= like if we were just using the 'Move ( ) steps' block, or 2- 'scrolling way' (S steps= like a common scrolling games, where you have to use a (ScrollX) variable and a 'Change (ScrollX) by ( )' block to move your character). The point of this is to mix these 'motion methods' in just one custom block, so with a simple change in a variable, you can change how the character is going to move. The best example is Super Mario Bros 3, the whole game is a scrolling game, except when you have to defeat the Ship Bosses, it suddenly changes and now Mario moves from side to side of the screen. Hope this made sense. If you want me explain it again, let me now XD... Love it and Favorite it, if you liked it...
