A school project about a totally different version of the Illiad, and how Troy fell (or didn't). Click the green flag :) ============================================ For people who already read the Illiad, here's a character key: Aggeren (King) - Aggamemnon, king of Greece Mayonnaise (orange armor) - Menelaos, king of Sparta Tristam (blue armor, beard) - Hector, prince of Troy Lyon (blue armor, no beard) - Paris, other prince of Troy (Hector's younger brother) Achillish (red armor, blonde) - Achilles, great Greek hero Princess Helvetica (text face in Helvetica font) - Helen, Paris' wife Monster - Made up, isn't in the Illiad :P ============================================ For people who don't get it, here's the story: King Mayonnaise discovers that his wife (Princess Helvetica) has run away and married Prince Lyon of Troy. After asking King Aggeren for advice, Aggeren decides to use this as an excuse to invade Troy. He finds his greatest warrior, Achillish, and asks him to fight. After a refusal to get paid for fighting, Achillish face-plants. Next, Aggeren and Mayonnaise have a feast of hot-dogs. After rallying their troops, the two sides go to war. After a bit of fighting, a huge purple monster wakes up and comes out of the forest to see what the noise is coming from. After one of the troops is eaten, the armies flee. Prince Tristam (Lyon's older brother) attacks the monster with his spear. The angry monster flings him through the air where he lands next to Princess Helvetica. Helvetica, who is an amazing cook, throws the monster a large piece of meat. The happy monster becomes tame.
Credit goes to my mom for assigning the project, Homer (author of the Illiad), Robert Fitzgerald for translating it, Laurie Johnson for one of the songs, Wintergatan for the marble machine song, a few other people that I don't know the names of that made the other songs, and the monster for being obedient on camera lol. ============================================ :)
