Okay so this used to be an art motivation thing but I now have something VERY SEROIUS to talk about. If you are easily triggered please don't blow up at me. --- I think we've all seen feminist movements. Outside, at stores, online, heck, even on Scratch. And I wanna make it clear: I do not hate feminists. I do not have anything against the empowerment of girls. The only grievance I have is the imbalance feminism is bringing. --- Now, there was a rare time when feminism meant Girls = Guys. And it was great! Ladies got to vote, work outside of home, etc. But now, I think it has spiraled out of hand. Now, some people think that feminism is some rebellion against the "ones who have ruled this society". In other words, Girls > Guys. They think that all men are sexist, controlling machines that will keep girls in their iron grip. And not all feminists are like this. Just some. --- I feel like feminism is needed, yes, but the constant put-down of men is definitely not. In fact, STEM fields have begun to hire more women than men to avoid people bashing them for sexism. Careers that require a certain physical state have lowered the standards for women to an exceptionally low rate to accommodate them, again, to avoid social bashing. (Mainly in the U.K.) --- Many people argue that the wage gap is real, in which I have no idea. The internet still needs to settle on that before I can do any research on that. Men commit suicide more than women, and more men are unemployed then women. There are also many more arguements that I could talk about, but can't cuz this is a kids website. --- Women just seem to be more "inspirational" than men these days. You never see an article talking about how a man wanted to be a gardener instead of a scientist or football player and defeating "social norm". --- To summarize, I believe that feminists need to tone it down a couple notches. There is still a problem, but the ones that need to be convinced isn't so much the public anymore, it's individual minds. Don't degrade all men into filthy pigs, not all of them are. Please don't target the innocent while looking for the guilty. --- Thanks for reading! Feel free to debate in the comments, but please, please, please, don't hate. If things get bad I'm turning off comments or unsharing the project.
