(*SUGGESTIONS IN COMMENTS!!!! I ALWAYS WANT TO IMPROVE!!!! * (5/10/2014) 232 VIEWS????? Someone pinch me. Last edit: May 3 2014 Summary: Got the tabby stripes to work See if you can get the patterns based on Palebird, Woollytail, Kestrelflight, Tallstar, Bluestar, Graypool, Dawnstripe, Firestar, Cloversplash, Furzepelt or any other custom cat from the books! A lot of them are kindof random, lol. The Firestar one was made by Warriorcat123. Just click the generate button, or spacebar, and you have your cat. With 500+ suffixes and prefixes, the combinations seem unlimited! I even added a calico and tortiseshell patterns! You can use these for RPGs if you want. I just remixed it so that the colours/names would be a bit more realistic. It's still not going to be perfect, it's very possible to get double names (Moonmoon, Clawclaw, Frostfrost, Cloudcloud, etc) but it's the best I could do in a randomized generator. I'm always working to try to make it better. Ok, so, if u dont find one you like here is a naming meaning guide. Kits can be named for: ~Pelt colour/pattern ~Size ~Coat texture ~An event that happened soon after/before or during the kit's birth (a storm, a falling tree, a flood, a harsh season, etc) ~Something that has to do with the time the kit was born (Dusk, Dawn, Sun, Moon, Night, Day, etc) Things like -runner, -whisker, and -sight should only be used for suffixes (end of name) and NOT prefixes (start of name) NEVER use Twoleg words, such as mask, hammer, road, myth, house, metal (copper as in the colour is fine), you name it. Cats WOULD NOT know these words. And fit the names to the habitat, you would never have a forest cat named Camelfoot or Clamheart. Usually, you wouldn't use sacred things like sun, moon, spirit, star, etc for names, but there have been exceptions. And DON'T name your kit after the clan. If you were in Mistclan, you would name a pale gray kit Fogkit instead of Mistkit. If you were in Frostclan, you would name your white kit Whitekit or Snowkit instead of Frostkit. You get the idea. And don't name kits after things that there are only one of in any territory, like you wouldn't name a kit Riverkit or Forestkit, or Oceankit/Seakit. ****~~~~~~~!!!!THIS IS THE COOL BIT!!!~~~~~~~**** * means that must be or is most likely a medicine cat * Suggested names (doesnt have to be the example or quality): Prefix (first part) Adder Alder Amber Ant Apple Ash Ashen Aspen Badger Bear Birch Black Blizzard Blue Boulder Bracken Bramble Branch Briar Bright Brindle Brook Buzzard Cinder Cedar Cloud Clover Cherry Crow Daisy Dapple Dark Dawn Deer Dove Dusk Dust Eagle Ember Fallow Fawn Fern Finch Fire Flame Flint Fog Fox Frog Frost Gold Golden Goose Gorse Gray Hail Hay Hawk Hare Hazel Heather Heavy Holly Honey Ice Ivy Jay Kestrel Larch Lark Leopard Lichen Lightning Lily Lion Little Lizard Long Maple Minnow Mist Misty Morning' Moss Moth Mouse Mud Nettle Night Oak Oat Owl Pale Patch Pebble Pool Poppy Rabbit Rain Raven Red Reed Ripple Robin Rock Rose Rowan Russet Rust Sage Sand Shade Seed Shadow Shell Silver Sky Small Smoke Snake Snow Soot Sorrel Sparrow Speckle Spider Spotted Squirrel Stone Storm Swift Stumpy Tall Tawny Thistle Thrush Tiger Tiny Vine Web White Willow Wolf Yarrow Yellow Suffix (last part) back (Grayback, Blackback, Blueback) [back is prefix colour] belly (Whitebelly, Lightbelly, Snowbelly) [belly is prefix colour] *berry (Speckleberry, Snowberry, Fireberry, etc)[skilled medicine cat] bird (Palebird, Snowbird, etc) [good at climbing and jumping] blaze (Snowblaze, Fireblaze, Nightblaze, etc) [fearless fighter] blossom (Morningblossom, Duskblossom) [good mother] branch (Treebranch, Crowbranch, Icebranch) [skilled climber] breeze (Snowbreeze, Flamebreeze, Tigerbreeze) [fast and agile] briar (Snowbriar, Mousebriar) [smart and witty, prob sarcastic] brook (Stonebrook, Leafbrook, Mossbrook) [good swimmer] claw (Leopardclaw, Fireclaw, Mistclaw, Whiteclaw) [skilled fighter] cloud (Snowcloud, Ferncloud, Mosscloud) [calm, kind cat] coat (Leopardcoat, Snowcat, Icecoat, Mistcoat) [average cat] creek (Breezecreek, Mistcreek, Snowcreek) [good swimmer] dapple (Leafdapple, Reddapple) [dappled or tortiseshell cat] dawn (Appledawn, Morningdawn) [bright, kind, playful cat] *dream (Jaydream) [unusual connection to Starclan) dusk (Snowdusk, Skydusk, Tigerdusk) [kindof lazy or laid back cat] ear (Smallear, Hawkear, Fireear, Sandear, Snowear) [good hearing] eye(s) (Iceeyes, Eagleeye, Fireeye, Hawkeyes) [good sight] face (Blackface) [good-looking, or facial pattern relates to prefix] fall (Snowfall, Blossomfall, Hawkfall) [good at attacking from trees] fang (Badgerfang, Wolffang, Icefang, Tigerfang) [above average fighter] feather (Snowfeather, Jayfeather, Hawkfeather) [bird prefix or longhair] fern (Honeyfern, Icefern, Frostfern) [average, probably tabby cat] fire (Icefire, Frostfire, Leopardfire, Moonfire, Hawkfire) [fearless fighter] flame (Darkflame, Tallflame,
