He was genetically engineered in a laboratory when scientists found out that human genomes could be spliced with those of other animals to create half-breeds. Even though Vulpes was very young, the scientists at the laboratory treated him like their own child, raising him to be an intelligent kid, who was homeschooled all his life. Because of the kindness that the scientists showed him, he grew up always wanting to give instead of take - always wanting to help others. However, now he's finally been released into normal society. People stared at him in public a lot for having fox ears and a tail, so he learnt to hide them. One day, Vulpes was sitting in a cafe when the workers behind the till changed shifts, and Vulpes' eyes fell on one of the prettiest girls he had ever seen, but he knew just by looking at her that she was completely human. But every day after that, Vulpes went back to the cafe to stare at the girl behind the counter. Vulpes' powers include night-vision, a foxes sense of hearing and smell. He also found out that if anyone sees either his ears or his tail, he can make them momentarily fall asleep and forget that they saw him. Despite this, he hasn't been able to use this ability anywhere else.
