Bekah! Drawing only humans since 2015! Ok so this is a presentation thing with a lot of my digital art over the years, plus a picture at the end that I haven't posted yet. Below there is notes on every picture. 1- I'm pretty sure this is my first digital art, done with Scratch. I used some lines and a very small amount of shading. 2- I changed my style and did hair better, but there's still only shading on the forehead. This was also drawn with Scratch. 3- This was my first project using GIMP 2 to draw and I was in a technology class in either 7th or 8th grade, I don't remember. This consists of mostly editing. 4- Slightly better shading and different style, but GEEZ that FOREHEAD (drawn with GIMP 2) 5- I took a lot of time and effort on a picture, used way better shading than before, and then I flipped that picture and inverted it and put it on the other side. It's kind of a cool effect. (GIMP 2) 6- I used a better style in this one, and I started focusing on lines and shading a lot more, and it turned out good. (GIMP 2) 7- Changed that style a little bit, and tried shading hair differently, and just drawing the hair differently. (Scratch) 8- This is the first picture where instead of drawing line art and filling it in with color, I just drew and shaded with sketchy lines. Also I changed the art style again. (GIMP 2) 9- Same thing but with thicker lines. Also that neck is pretty dang thin. (GIMP 2) 10- Same thing but with super thin lines! And a lot of eyes. (GIMP 2) 11- I stopped doing the sketchy lines thing because I discovered the thing that makes the lines really smooth. Also I started shading with better colors. (GIMP 2) 12- Same thing, also trying new lighting. (GIMP 2) 13- I changed the art style. Looking at it now, I think it got worse. (GIMP 2) 14- Ok, I used good lighting and good background effects and stuff, but what the friCK Is UP WITH tHAT THERE NECK (GIMP 2) 15- I tried thicker lines, first of all, and also different colored lighting (GIMP 2) 16- Different lighting angles and trying to draw an entire person (GIMP 2) 17- Tried different shading with gradients or whatever, but boy oh boy that didn't work (GIMP 2) 18- This was the first time I used a color palette, and I also shaded the hair so that it's more shiny. (GIMP 2) 19- Tried some smooth shading and a background (GIMP 2) 20- First picture with Krita! I used a certain brush to shade, and it ended up alright. Also I used a certain brush to make a snazzy background. 21- Experimenting with different brushes, kind of a painting effect (Krita) 22- I used a color palette for this too, I was also practicing drawing legs (Krita) 23- Also used a palette for this, but I tried drawing something cool instead of just a regular person. (Krita) 24- I used smooth shading and editing with the lighting, and it ended up pretty good. (Krita) 25- I changed my art style to be way better! (Krita) 26- <3 (Krita) 27- A group of characters that I made for something once. I never actually drew a group of characters ever before this. (Krita) 28- The shading and the crystal design in this one is just really good. (Krita) 29- I did a whole background in this and did better shading. (Krita) 30- I still really like this one because the colors and shading are good and I drew a whole person that looks pretty normal. (Krita) 31- I changed my art style to look a bit better. (Krita) 32- Instead of shading with smooth brushes, I did the shading like this. I really like how it looks. (Krita) 33- Basically the same style, just trying different eye shapes and faster shading too. (Krita) 34- Not smooth shading, some kind of weird hair shading but it looks kind of good (Krita) 35- some more realistic shading, which looks kind of nice but isn't as fast. (Krita) (Also note that the amount of time it takes is important in my case because I want to draw for comics) 36- I actually just drew this today, and I think it's my best picture yet. I have to say, that's a lot of improvement. Like, a LOT of improvement.
All of these are drawn by me with Scratch, GIMP 2, or Krita I can't type anymore my hands are cold and shaky and my brain doesn't work But I'm all good :) I stayed up until 3:00 last night That's what happens when you start watching anime
