COTED stands for Cats of the Endless Darkness Description(from the studio): This is a RPG about cats... Before Starclan. Starclan isn't called Starclan, it is called The Clan of Endless Sunshine. The reason Starclan isn't, well, Starclan, is because there are no stars. At night there is nothing but the moon to light the way. So it's very dark. Also, the cats live near the Arctic Circle, meaning that winter lasts longer then usual, and the night time is much longer during the winter. So, they call themselves the Cats of Endless Darkness. So where is The Clan of Endless Sunshine anyway? They live in the Golden Oaks forest. This is a place on the other side of the mountains, in a valley where all the Trees are Oaks with golden leaves. It is said that The Clan of Endless Sunshine rests there. Medicine cats will go there and receive visions and prophecies from them. Only medicine cats and leaders are able to visit the Golden Oaks. Unless that cat is very very special... This is the story of the 4 clans that live in the hills and forests on the other side of the mountains, Moonclan, Sunclan, Twilightclan, and Mistclan. Rivals? Wars? Alliances? You decide what their destiny is.
