Press the space bar, or click the background to flap, you can vary the amount of power each flap does, and the strength of the gravity pulling the parrot down to try and find the easiest settings for you.
My daughter showed me a similar game on her phone, it looked quite fun and something that I could probably build in Scratch, so I had a go at it. The phrases at the end are from the Monty Python dead parrot sketch.
