I wasn't sure whether to title it as "A Norwegian Complains About Norway" and then making a project later on about me not complaining about Norway, but I completely scrapped that idea and just did this instead. I'm giving you full permission to remix this project, as long as you do it with your own art and wherever you live. If you live in Norway then list different reasons please, or say them in different words.
Now, for those of you who have been living under a rock for the past month, i'm Norwegian and I've recently moved back to Norway. So, now that that's out-of-the-way I can begin what I actually wanted to say. Pro- It's beautiful. I know it's natural for a Norwegian to be saying this, so I got a second opinion from Derika, and she also thinks it beautiful, so I can actually say this, well, I would have said it regardless of what she said. It's a beautiful country not only because I grew up there, but because the landscapes are AMAZING. When I was younger, I always used to go hiking and fishing with my dad, I wonder why I don't do it now? Con- It's cold and the weather is sometimes unpredictable. Now, us Norwegians tend to be used to the weather, but that doesn't stop me from complaining. For example, when I last went to Paris with Derika they were in the middle of a heat wave 36 degrees celsius was the highest temperature, we left wearing warm summer clothes, and we returned home freezing. Us Norwegians have a saying "There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes." We probably should have remembered to change clothes on the plane.. Pro- We are a safe country with low crime rates. Yup, you heard me. We have such low crime rates that we even leave the doors unlocked when we go out. We sometimes take the normal safety precautions, but safety issues aren't really a big deal here. Con- Sometimes we can be quite understood. Okay, so I know we're maybe not as outgoing as the Canadians but we certainly aren't evil. Us Norwegians can be quite friendly we just take a little more time becoming friend with you. Even a really outgoing Norwegian like me takes time talking and becoming friends with people. Welp, i'm going to end it there because I can't be bothered typing more.
