MMMM. You like ruining my art quality, don't you Scratch? I'm allowing remixes on this project as long as you remix with your own art, opinion and OC. I work hard on the art for my projects and I hate to see it be abused. Takk!
Yup. I'm here to talk about the infamous recolour OCs. Okay. So first of all I would like to say that there really is no excuse, recolours are just horrible in general. Now, I know this is a site that allows recolouring but before people decide to report this project because it "breaks Scratch rules" here me out. I said I was only talking about recolour OCs didn't I? Well, I'm sticking by that. I know this is a site that allows recolouring, as I have stated, and I'm not saying anything against it, just the, ugh, recolour OCs that I've seen, nothing more. So, what is a recolour OC? A recolour OC is an OC that has the same looks as a canon character, only with different colours. Now, you see the example in the project? That recolored Pinkie Pie? That my friend, is a reclour. Horrible isn't it? Now, the majority of us have made a recolour OC, and that's perfectly fine, as long as you've grown out of it though. Now, why don't we take a look at the fandom with, probably, the most amount of recolour OCs out there; UnderTale. Do you know how many cups of bleach i've had to pour myself from the amount of sans recolours I've seen? Way too many! Okay, I know it's not that bad and it probably isn't the fandom with the most recolours, but I needed a pretty toxic fandom to pick on (other than Fairy Tale). Anyway back to what I was saying earlier. Recolour OCs are a no-go, sure it's okay to do them for an AU fanfic or something, but that's about as far as it should EVER go. To the people still with recolour OCs, please try to draw your own characters, or even use bases, because you can't keep recolouring, for example, Sans and call it an OC. Welp. That's all I have to say.
