alrighty this is going to be a long one so buckle up kiddos and let's explore some character development So Robyn (or Robin as she was at the time) is one of my oldest OCs, second to Phoenix. She's been around since I started playing Pokemon, but unlike Phoenix, I haven't really done much with her. She started off as my HGSS protagonist, then she kinda disappeared for a while, then came back for a few months, disappeared for a few years, then actually came back last week. I've been participating in Inktober, and one of the prompts was "mysterious" and I said to myself "hey why don't i give drawing robin a try." The result was the first pictures, which actually turned out really well! She really likes computers and digital/mechanical things (her signature Pokemon are Porygon-Z and Magnezone), so I tried to accomplish a sort of glitchy effect. After the first drawing, I figured I would give drawing her a few more times a go, and you can see how she sort of changed from the first drawing to the last (the last one was done today). All in all, I'm incredibly happy to have Robyn back. One of the main reasons I was never really able to draw her for the past few years was because I had no idea what she would look like -- I tried to go for a casual look, with a blue hoodie and cargo pants, but it never really worked out -- especially for her hair. Now, though, she looks great (in my opinion)! She's a pseudo-computer genius, so since she spends so much time at her computer, she neglects her appearance quite a bit. Robyn usually just wears a black body suit with a big t-shirt over it (i'll probably post a few full-body drawings on here at some point) and if she goes outside, she'll wear sneakers. As for personality, she's very...cold? Not in the sense that she's rude to people, but just that she's indifferent to the people around her -- she usually just spends time alone, so she doesn't have very many friends or connections. Robyn is also rather robotic -- every action that she makes is deliberate, and she tries to be as efficient as possible, regardless of the effects that it has on the people around her. She does genuinely care for her Pokemon though, even though it really never seems like it for the most part. PKMN TEAM: Porygon-Z, Magnezone, Electrode, Espeon, Meowth, Dunsparce oh and since i forgot to mention it -- the disney vault is just a figure of speech I use sometimes for a place that thoughts and other things go to when they disappear for a long time. thanks for reading!! have a great day! <33
