Press and hold Space. You could really do it however you want. Press Space a bunch of times fo really short periods of time, hold it, and so on. Press the Up Arrow to go to the next backdrop. Press the Down Arrow to go back. Press the Left and right Arrow keys to change backround colors.
I coded it by myself for the most part, and I found how you can do special effects on somone elses project, so thank you to whoever that was.
