Like I said earlier, we’re going to talk about his backstory. Bill Cipher is a demon who has lived for millions of years. His ultimate goal is to achieve world domination. This is a simple enough trope that has been used so many times that I’m starting to wonder why any potential creators have had any other ideas. But, here’s the thing. Bill’s quote from earlier on very clearly states that he gets his power from what he knows. And he gets his knowledge from what he sees. And he can see through pictures of himself. So, I have a question to ask. How do you broadcast a picture far and wide for everyone to see? How do you get the people who see it to feel compelled to recreate their own versions of the picture through art? This may have been impossible in the original age where he was meant to have originated, but think about the modern age. What better way to spread information than through… a television screen? And what better way to do it than an innocent, little cartoon? I know this isn’t a good idea, to go around suddenly jumping to conclusions. But think about it. It’s the perfect plan to make Bill popular. Villains, depending on how much personality they have, usually receive the same amount of fan art as much as the heroes. And Bill was never the nicest spirit floating around, so it wouldn’t be surprising that he would portray himself as the villain. His plan to achieve all- seeing vision is working, too. Every time you see fan- art of him, or even the illuminati sign, that’s him, watching. We might be able to cover up a few of his eyes, but we can’t cover up the internet. And do you know what’s worse? I have even more proof that this is real. Just go over to the gravity falls wiki. Click on the link to his page, and then go to his photo gallery. His first photos aren’t of himself in the episodes, they’re of hidden, pictures of him scattered at random intervals around the show which only the most eagle eyed of fans can find. Even when he isn’t onscreen, he’s still watching. Watching and waiting. http://gravityfalls.wikia.com/wiki/Bill_Cipher/Gallery Not only did he influence people to spread his image throughout the show, I’ve started seeing a pattern. Somehow, he’s using this fame to piece himself together in the real world as well. I think that he must have manipulated Alex into doing the show, but made it seem as though Alex was in control the whole time. He let Alex come up with the storyline, original characters, influences and inspirations, so that Alex would have something to say for the interviews to make it seem less suspicious. Bill is a very smart spirit. He wanted people to fear him, so that he could gain power. So that he could pass into our world. Look at the evidence: • In the first project, an unknown person tried to summon him at my school. • In Part 4, I got attacked by an anonymous person (probably a fangirl) for erasing the devil pentagrams I found at my school, after posting the story on Tumblr. • In Part 4, I found an image of a ghost child next to Bill Cipher. What next? I don’t travel a lot, or go on the internet that much at all, but if someone who lies low as much as me can see all kinds of crazy stuff happening, then how much don’t I know about? I know that trying to summon demons and bullying people who don’t agree with you is classified as ‘fangirling’, but what about that ghost thing? I don’t want to know anymore. I don’t want to go on. I’ve just achieved what Bill wanted. To spread fear, and get attention. I’ve just exposed him, but that’s even worse for everyone now. I wish I had just kept my mouth shut. Because guess what? You’ve become a part of it now. .
