Here is the story: Two cats/wolves/humans (whatever you prefer animating), fell in love they lived happily in a den/house near a pond with a willow tree that they planted. (code word 1: badpotatoturnip) They had a daughter/kit who they would watch over together. One day, they realized their clan/village/pack had been attacked. The father was killed, and the mother and daughter had to run away to a new clan/village/pack. It was never the same without the kit's/daughter's father, and the mother's husband. A year had passed, a cold long year. One day, they went out of their new den/house, and they saw a glowing figure. Their father. His spirit was still with them. Watching over them. 13.
