The magneta is a 1 or on or 'yes' The blue is a 0 or off or 'no' To see the trail make sure the switch is on or off; the clear is to clear the trail. Tip: let it start, stop it after counting to like 2 and then use the switch and/or the clear button. They both work even if the simulator is not on.
I made this in around an hour for a school project. Sorry if some of the lines merge, it should still be ok though.
