First of all, I'd like to thank dotGEARS Studio, which originally made this game - This is just a Clone. Visit their Website at http://www.dotgears.com/ Thank you for clicking on this project. As you can read out of the title, this project is almost like the original game, maybe even the most accurate one out there - At least that's what I like to tell myself. To access to all the assets (Sounds/Graphics), I disassembled the apk-file (File format for Android Applications). I then ripped out all the files and reused them in this project. The screen seems a bit tiny - That's because I tried to get the proportion to 16:9 (Just like on the phone). I tried my best to make this project almost similar to the original. For example, the bird only spins 21°, like in the original game, the textures do not actually use black nor white, I tried to follow that rule. I made a lot of screenshots to measure the fly height, the gap between two pipes, the time it takes the pipes to cross the screen etc. There are still some known bugs tough that I'm unable/too lazy to fix: - You don't really have to cross a pipe to get a point. Since I measure score in time, you point even when you hit a pipe. - When restarting, sometimes you get a bonus point, because there's an invisible pipe. - The project itself seems a bit.. fragile. I have no idea why it feels like this, but it doesn't have that "hard" feeling, not sure if you can retrace that. - The points counter is actually always centered in the original game, and the numbers don't have space inbetween, but are "glued" together, side by side. Since I hate doing anything with score counters at all, I didn't have any motivation to fix that too - I don't remember further bugs, but feel free to report anything strange you notice Notice: To clear up confusion - the "original" tag does not mean this is the original game, of course not, I want to say the game is the one that is the nearest to the original.
