The animation is unfinished, and I may not have time to finish it. Made with: GIMP Story: (WARNING! LONG) My eyes stayed closed but I felt my ear twitch as I awakened. Strange. That had never happened before. My eyes opening slightly, I tried to pull myself up, but fell back, unstable on two legs. Confused, I let my eyes open fully, focusing on what was in front of me. I wanted to scream but could not make a sound. I was staring at my hand -- well, my paw now. It was small and covered with short black fur. I quickly went over what had just happened. I went to sleep in my bed, like usual. But when I woke up I was a lot smaller, had paws and fur, and was in... Where was I anyway? I lifted my head to glance around and saw that I was on golden clouds and around me was a -- a divide. A divide between night and day. And in the middle was a solar eclipse. But when I looked at it, nothing happened even though solar eclipses are supposed to hurt your eyes.I forced myself to look away and saw a purple-ish grey cat with golden eyes and a starry, unreal look to him. Scrambling to all four feet, I unfurled my wings. [this is where the original CC picture is in the animation] Great. So I had wings now too. Trying to ignore the wings, I stared at him. He began to speak, his words sounding as unreal and distant as he looked. "Welcome, young one. I know you are confused, but all will become clear soon." Sympathy lit his eyes. I thought about his words for a moment, then thought about the complete absurdity of a cat talking to me. I had to be dreaming. "As you can see, you have become a cat. It will take some time, but you will get used to it. And do not worry, you are still asleep in your bed. But those memories are false now. No longer yours." No! That couldn't be true! As if I had spoken the words aloud, he replied. "But it is true. I know that this change is big and frightening, and I'm sorry. But now you must leave." "Wait!" I screamed, but the words would not come out so my cry was silent. The cat unfurled hidden wings and the whole world faded away, to be replaced by an image of me -- the black cat me -- on a rug lying down as a tiny, wingless kitten along with a large black cat with a yellow collar and a tiny dark grey kitten with a white underbelly. The image stayed for a moment, as did the memory of everything that had happened before now, but soon they were both replaced by a word of complete black and a single name: Summer. AND SO BEGINS THE LIFE OF MY OC, SUMMER! Yup. That was long. I like writing. :3
