NOTICE: Some have said this project no longer works. If that is the case, ScratchScript v2.0 is the alternative (although it lacks the paint editor). Welcome to Sideways Scratch, the first Scratch Emulator to have a paint editor! To ensure that you have the best experience possible, please read all the instructions. ****PLATFORM NOTICE**** This only works in Scratch, not phosphorus or sulfurous (due to the way clones work and the lack of the "keep sprites on the stage" rule. ****THE INSPIRATION**** The Scratch Team originally said that a horizontal block editor would be implemented in Scratch 3.0, without reporters and only with these categories, but it was then cancelled and only vertical blocks were used. I decided to try to create the version with horizontal blocks, and this is the final product! ****INSTRUCTIONS**** Click a block to add it. Then enter the parameter if needed. NOTE: Motion blocks, except for the set x, set y, change x, and change y blocks are not yet coded and appear undefined when clicked. The stop script block currently does nothing (the script can still be called after the block is used). To change the script you are editing (there is a limit of 4 per sprite), click the pencil menu button. To change the sprite you are editing (there is a limit of 5), click the button with different shapes. To open the paint editor, click the pen button. NOTE: You MUST create your sprite in the paint editor or it will appear hidden in the player! The sounds available are meow, dog1, pop, and computer beep1. The undo/save/load buttons should work. In the player, to exit, click the undo button.
