Make the moon rotate 90 degrees counter-clockwise every time the earth is pressed to show the way the moon's position influences the tides off the shores of Los Angeles. (The earth should not rotate.) Make the water level change to reflect the approximate height it would have at high and low tides (about 5 ft for high tide and 0 ft for low tide). Include a floating item (you can use the Keelung Duck or some other sprite) and make sure it stays afloat atop the water as the tides come in and out.
The following worksheet was very helpful in making this project. https://www.teachervision.com/tv/printables/TCR/1576906221_29-30.pdf As was this website. http://tides.mobilegeographics.com/locations/3447.html
