DO NOT SAY THIS IS BIASED. I chose these based on what the judges gave to me, then went from there. I based these on what program was being used(fairness), if they used the example SPRITE(not the background; too many people used it), color blending, shading, quality, etc. I DID NOT CHOOSE THESE BASED ON FANDOMS OR ANIMATION. HMs are listed in no particular order. --------------------------------------------WINNERS----------------------------------------- Multi-Program: HM- @XxCookieWolfxX -- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/172033536/ Sorry I didn't put you in the top entries, but I'm impressed by your choice of color and the way you used her face as a light point! 3rd- @Mlp-Seach-Light_12 -- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/172267913/ This one deserves attention! I love the painterly coloring style, and the fade around her gave a dreamy feeling! 2nd- -- I admit I'm a bit of a Terraria lover myself― but that's not why I chose this. The blending was phenomenal, and the cartoony torches and house provided comfort, unlike the the Eye looming behind her. (Just being a grammar freak here, but it's supposed to be "AN evil", not "A evil". I know there's no way to fix it, sorry!) 1st- -- Where do I even start with this?! The blending was amazing, the colors contrasted phenomenally, The heart effect was awesome, the shading and highlights were astounding, and a billion other things I could say! Main: HMs -- The pastels went so well together, and the shading was astonishing! To answer your question, yes, you were the only(known) one who made them a male. -- Yukomi was amazing! The colors went well together, and the bow(?) you added to the back of the hair is cute. The only things I can say are that the red could be softer and the shading could be stronger. Other than that, I love it! -- It's nice, and the colors contrast well with each other! I like the freckles you added to the character. It does look like Hoyden, I'll give you that XD -- It looked like you had this blue & gold theme going on― and I like it! The gradients in the eye were well-done, as was the coloring. The main thing I'd say to improve on is to not make your shading cover up your lineart. -- I love the winter feeling she gives! The snowflakes(?) in her hair are cute! -- Okay, I admit, I flinched when I saw the animated background. Nevertheless, Chainwood was well done! I like the consistent color palette! -- It lacks shading, but the colors make up for it! I find that the demon-eye goes well with the red hair, and I like the style for the highlighting! -- I love the green and brown color scheme, it gave an earthy feel to the design! The shading lacked, but the highlighting style made up for it! -- The red & brown provided a demonic theme, and the blue contrasted well! There isn't any sign of shading, but it's a great design! -- Whoa, this was colorful! I like the abstract style for the hair's shading, but maybe you could balance that out elsewhere? -- I like the android theme for this one! The blue leads your eye directly to the face, which seems like what you intended! 6th- -- I see what you mean by "I wish I could have hair as awesome as this". It's amazing! I love the cel-shading style you used for this! 5th- -- Wow, you changed a lot on this! I like the purple color scheme! 4th- -- You are SO good at shading! I was blown away by the skill, the strength of the shading, and the lighting! 3rd- -- You didn't fill in the sclera, but it's still amazing! I like your style of using random colors on their own to shade that actually blend really well! 2nd- -- This almost tied with first, it's so amazing! The horn is creative, and the gradient shading is nice! 1st- -- The contrast for the eye is poor― but the shading and the color palette are beyond what anyone else did. I like how you changed the hairstyle, and redid the top to fit the look you were going for.
