This is a fun little project I made to mess around with clones and their own personal instances of variables. The AI is very basic, but it's mostly just a proof of concept. I strongly recommend Turbo Mode (Shift + Green flag to activate). You don't really do much except change the settings and watch the AIs mess around. After the settings have been modified to your satisfaction, hit space to put them in place. (Alternatively, you can hit the green flag: this is the lag-free option and works just as well, if not better. The only downside is that the music starts over again. I recommend using the green flag if you have more than 15 clones on-screen.) SETTINGS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Character]Allowed?: This is a true or false value. If true, there is a chance for this type of character to spawn. Certain characters make the game laggier. SpawnCt: How many AI you want to spawn in. It ranges from 1 to 25, but obviously higher numbers make it lag more. Area: There are currently 6 areas. Three of them (3, 4, and 6) have areas that kill AI on collision, and these are more prone to lag, but aren't super bad at lower spawn counts. KillerCount: If true, then a number will appear showing what streak the killer is on whenever it gets a kill. Default off because of lag. (Still some bugs with this) The count resets when the killer dies. Mute: Turns off all sounds in game. (Currently this is just music, but if I add SFX in a future update, I'll probably make those mutable as well.) CHARACTERS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + Runner (Red) - Moves more erratically + Skipper (Navy Blue) - Jumps more often + Happy (Green) - Smiles a lot + Morpher (Light Blue) - Transforms into other colors + Jumper (Purple) - Jumps higher than all the others + Killer (Orange) - Kills other characters on contact + Angel (Pink) - The only thing other than lava that can kill and survive a Killer (also survives Wizard fireballs) + Wizard (Gray) - Summons deadly fireballs [Currently in development, there is a glitch with wizards summoning a fireball while another one is out that makes it summon twice as many fireballs as already exist] + Slime (Light gray, gray outline) - These beautiful creatures float around and suspend other AI within their glorious gel-like bodies. + Ghost (Bright green) - They fly around through the air, passing through platforms and other AI. They can still die though, which is weird since they're already dead... + Bomber (Magenta) - They act just like a normal character until suddenly...BOOM! They blow themselves up, along with anybody too close to them. + Vampire (Dark gray with maroon cape) - These characters are very interesting. In normal form, they don't have many unique behaviors, but they have the power to transform into a bat, which cannot spawn unless transformed into by a vampire. The bats fly around very fast before turning back into a vampire. + Slime Rider (Light gray, pink outline and pink rider) - Combining the best elements of the angel and the slime, the slime rider can float around, suspend others in their gelatinous bodies, and kill killers.
CREDIT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + @dirpbunny for the engine that I modified to be used by the AI for the movement. It was pretty simple, but saved me the time of programming my own. Thanks. + @AltionDesigns for the settings icon + The rest of the art (if you can really call it that), the AI scripts, the modifications to the engine and the icon scripts and art were all created by me. + Feel free to use any of these or modify them if you would like, just remember to give credit to @waffledragon. Future Updates: + More Unique characters with their own effects -Examples include one with low gravity, a character with different movement, etc. + More areas + More interactions between characters + Wizard fix + More icons + Settings shortcuts for lag-free, maximum, etc. + Make bats respawn as vampires?
