Hi! *I did this for fun, btw. So my feelings won't be hurt if I don't win*
LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT'S GOING ON I chose weird colors for their fur, but this is Riverheart (Left) and Greyfeather (Right) falling in love with each other. Let me quote a paragraph from my book (It is written in Riverheart's point of view) Greyfeather looked into my eyes. I didn't know what was going on, so I tried to look away. He walked over to me and smiled. I was confused. "Stop it!" I playfully barked. I've known him ever sense we were pups together, and he was acting weird. He smiles. "What's wrong?" I ask him. "Oh um, nothing. I just, your eyes are beautiful." Greyfeather told me as I jumped onto a rock to get a better view of the sunset. I look back and sit down. He hops onto the rock and sits down with me. (For some reason scratch won't let me write the next sentence)"Please tell me" I ask. "Well, uh, we've been friends for a long time now, and, I uhhh.... really, really like you, and I want us to be more than friends." Greyfeather tells me. I smile. "You know, I am open for a mate." I say. We both blush and he smiles. "Well, I was going to ask you this on our mission tomorrow but, I guess I'll ask this now,"Greyfeather pauses. "W-w-w will y-y-you be m-m-my m-m-m-m-mate?" He nervously asks. I smile and look down. "Yes!" I bark happily. Greyfeather stands up and smiles. Then, a shadow appears in the grass. "My father! It's Spikestar!" I bark. We jump down and we both tell Whitestar that we need to prepare for battle, right now! (Btw this book IS kid-friendly) ;) Well, there you go! :)
