You are the red car for the race. Use the arrow keys to race the red car around the track. Finish first in five laps while getting the best time possible. Don't forget, you can't just drive the wrong way or go off-course to win, you must be facing north when you touch the finish line for the lap to count. If you go the wrong way, you'll hear "Turn it around!"; if you go-off course, the game will reset you. For the AI, they turn around if they pass the finish line the wrong way, and they retire if they completely go off-course. Options: AI Cars, Pick 0, 1 or 5 cars to race against. Course: There are 7 tracks, click on Change Course to choose the track to race on.
A car game where your goal is to beat the other racers and get the best time and maybe, get the World Record! Comment on your best laps and total times for each of the 7 courses in the game! And don't forget, you can see the world fastest time in each of the 7 courses! The reason why this is v2 is because the old version was made using 1.4 back in 2011. Major changes were made for this project to work in Scratch 3.0. In addition, the shooting mechanic and the ability to use controls other than the keyboard have been removed. A glitch introduced in Scratch 2.0 where AI cars just went off-course has been fixed. The game now keeps track of your best times in each of the 7 courses, accurate to the millisecond.
