Tex is a machine. He has two modes; Standard, and Driven. Driven is dangerous. (That's an understatement.) His name was going to be Syntax, after the code, but I shortened it to Tax, and the it hit me. so now he's Tex. The orange thing in the background is a turret. It has laser beams and tractor beams.
