NOTE: PRESS GREEN FLAG 3 TIMES WHEN STARTING OR RESTARTING!!! Note 2: This game (in its current state) is very laggy, it's recommended that you close all other windows & tabs to get a decent performance (even then though it's not guaranteed). Note 3: The game usually takes a second to spawn in the items & enemies, so if things seem to pop in at random, that's probably why. Note 4: The game isn't designed to have more than one item/enemy on-screen at a time (yet). If you think an area look strangely empty, try killing the on-screen enemy & something might appear ===Objective=== Try to get to the exit by collecting three crystals & unlocking the door. Beware of enemies & traps! ===Controls=== (general) move left = A move right = D jump = hold W duck = S shoot gun = Space (ladders) grab ladder = W or S dismount ladder = A or D move up ladders = W move down ladders = S (swimming) swim up = keep pressing W swim down = S ===Enemies=== (currently these are placeholder sprites until I make actual graphics) dark green = frog He'll hop at you, but can't move otherwise. You can duck & shoot him when he's standing still, or normally shoot him when he's jumping light green = snake He slithers back & forth & then goes upward at the ends of his pattern. Duck & shoot him when he slithers or normally shoot him when he goes up. dark yellow = spider He crawls back & forth. Just duck & shoot him & you'll be fine. pale blue = bat He stays still, but if you get too close, he'll start flying at you in a wavy pattern. Jump & shoot him or just time your shot to when he's near you. red = scorpion He may seem like the spider, but he'll charge at you when he sees you. Duck & shoot to get him, but it's better to get him from behind. grey = phantom You can't kill this guy, just duck underneath him when he arrives & then continue onward. brown = ceiling trap Don't step on this button, or else the ceiling will fall on top of you. Try to avoid the button or just be ready to get out of the way when it does fall.
The latest advancement in my new adventure game I'm working on. I hope to make it a full game someday, but until then, enjoy what I have so far.
